Conveyor Belt is basically used as integral part of material transferring system needed to shift bulk amount of goods. Also referred as belt conveyor, this equipment is designed with two or multiple drums or pulleys. The belt is located between these pulleys and it tends to move around these pulleys. The belt tends to move in forward direction when power is supplied to pulleys. Drive pulleys are those that are powered and their unpowered version is mentioned as idler pulley. Belt Conveyors are classified on the basis of materials that are transferred by these. One variant of these conveyors transfer bulk amount of packaging boxes directly from production units. The other type of conveyor is used for shifting large amount of substances that include crops, ores, coal, salt, other heavy materials and so on.
